A huge congratulations to the Yellowknife Ice Volleyball Club for their incredible performance at the 2025 Territorial Volleyball Championships! We are beyond proud of our 18U girls’ team for their silver medal finish, a testament to the hard work, determination, and heart they displayed on and off the court.

This team has truly demonstrated what it means to be a united and supportive group of athletes. Every player, whether on the court or cheering from the bench, showed up with positivity, dedication, and a relentless spirit to succeed. The girls played with fierce determination, making us all proud with their exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork.

But it wasn’t just the players on the court that made this silver medal victory possible—it was the entire team. The bench players played a key role, bringing energy, encouragement, and unwavering support to their teammates. They knew exactly when their time to shine would come, and when called upon, they brought a spark that propelled the team forward. The energy and support from the sidelines were just as vital as the incredible plays happening on the court.

This victory isn’t just about the medal—it’s about the growth, the relationships, and the journey that each player has been a part of. Whether on the court or waiting for their moment, everyone understood their role, and that unity and understanding were crucial to the team’s success.
