Ice Volleyball is thrilled to have Darren Horn as our 18U girls head coach. Darren was in St Catherine's, Ontario for three weeks in July, as an assistant coach with the Canadian Women's Youth National Team! The team was made up of twenty-six exeptional U17 players from across the country. For two weeks the group was trained on National Team offensive and defensive systems, video analysis, and team building activities. Players and coaches were then split into two teams, Canada Red and Canada White, and competed in the 2023 Canada Cup. These young National Team athletes competed against Provincial Teams, made up largely of 17 and 18 year old athletes. Canada White won Gold and Canada Red won Bronze, both in the top division.

Were excited to have that knowledge and experience brought to Ice Volleyball, this season.
